9 to 5: THe musical

synopsis

Tuesday 5  – Saturday 9 September 2017, Putney Arts Theatre

Based on the 1980 movie of the same name, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there’’s nothing they can’t do – even in a man’s world! 9 to 5: The Musical is a story of friendship and getting ahead in the Rolodex era.

Outrageous, thought provoking, and even a little romantic, this show is about teaming up and taking care of business. Featuring original numbers from Dolly Parton’s Oscar, Tony and Grammy Award nominated score, including Backwoods Barbie, Shine like the Sun, and the original hit song, 9 to 5.
