Putting on a show is expensive. There are lots of things that need to be paid for – performance rights, venue hire, scenery, costumes, lighting, insurance… Even though we are an amateur group, we still use professional suppliers who charge industry rates.
We want to keep ticket prices affordable, but unfortunately these costs are increasing year by year. This year, we are facing additional costs due to Covid to cover extra rehearsal space and cleaning.
Cygnet Players is not a registered charity, but as a voluntary not-for-profit organisation we do rely on fundraising events and sponsorship to support us.
If you would like to show your support by making a financial contribution, but the other options of becoming a member or a Swan don’t appeal, you can make a one-off contribution by clicking the button below.
